    A great mix of action and stealth

    Metro 2033 (the first game in the series) has in my feeling a relatively slow start but picks up and turns into a very enjoyable shooter with varied level design, and gameplay sequences. The style and tone is very well established from the beginning of the game, and the upgrades from the original are very noticeable.
