Like most games from the Hamtaro franchise, the player gets to roam several location of the world and get to solve many situational puzzles in order to proceed on their journey. An important part of the gameplay is the game's internal dictionary, which gets filled as the game progresses, allowing for different actions to be performed and different reactions to be obtained from non-player characters.
