Overview
A desert is any large area of land with little or no precipitation, making Antarctica the largest desert on Earth. They are typically characterized as places with high temperatures and an abundance of sand, though. Deserts are home only to creatures with the strongest of survival instincts, and ancient structures left by long forgotten peoples. Save nomads, few dare stray far from the rare oases that sustain what little life there is in these desolate places.
