I had a lot of fun with NFL Street 2 on Dolphin over the lockdown in 2020, it's still a really fun game. From what I recall it takes some fiddling with options to make the game flow a little better (maybe some game speed thing, unlocking teams, etc.) but it's still really fun. It actually made me want a new NFL Street so bad with all the physical and mobile QBs nowadays with Mahomes, Allen, and Lamar Jackson. There's a good handful of Gamecube sports games out there like Sega Soccer Slam and FIFA Street 2. I've never tried but Disney Sports: American Football looks really funny. Sadly no Virtua Tennis on GC, only Virtua Striker which I can't remember if it's any good.
